ABOUT ME

I'm Amen Alebachew Kassa — founder of Amen Creative, a multidisciplinary studio I built at 19, and a recent BSc Information Technology graduate (Class of 2026, Haramaya University). I work at the intersection of design, technology, and education.
Beyond client work, I built Amen Creative Lessons (ACL), which has trained 276+ students in professional design across six cohorts at Haramaya University. Currently developing Skill Mesob, a scalable e-learning platform for creatives across Ethiopia.
I serve as a Higher Executive of the Haramaya University Students' Union and as MUN Coordinator for the UNA-ET Haramaya University Chapter, having organized two Model United Nations simulations. I'm also a founding contributor and the logo designer for HUCISA, and work as a Social Media Manager at Every Digital Studio.

WORK EXPERIENCE
- Founded and scaled a multidisciplinary digital agency to 130+ clients and 500+ delivered projects across graphic design, branding, video editing, web development, and social media management.
- Built websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and WordPress for local and regional clients.
- Conducted training sessions on Photoshop and Frontend Web Development.
- Manage brand content strategy, scheduling, and performance analytics for multiple client accounts.
- Develop campaign concepts and produce visual assets aligned to each brand identity.
- Developed and customized WordPress websites, installing and configuring themes and plugins, and building page layouts with Elementor.
- Built the first version of Skill Mesob — an e-learning platform on WordPress using the Astra theme, Elementor page design, an integrated LMS plugin for course management, user registration/authentication, course enrollment, and a connected MySQL database.
- Managed website content and media, and learned deployment, maintenance, and performance optimization for production-ready sites.
- Collaborated with a professional development team, gaining hands-on experience that later shaped the more advanced version of Skill Mesob built with modern web technologies.
- Built a full-stack online delivery platform using React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, Express.js and Postman.
- Designed an intuitive UI/UX for seamless customer and admin interaction.
- Conducted system analysis and designed workflow processes, system architecture, and database structures for the university's digital clearance system.
- Analyzed functional and non-functional requirements to ensure efficiency and usability.
- Taught a full Graphics Design course to Haramaya University students; recognized by the IT Department Head for engaging lessons and practical, industry-ready teaching.
- Separately delivered a 15-day Graphics Design online course for HUCISA (Computing & Informatics Students Association).
- Designed logos, business cards, menus, posters, and print/digital marketing materials.
- Created campaigns for local and regional marketing clients.

Focused on software development, database management, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. Hands-on experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, and C++ for real-world software and web applications.
Active in the UNA-ET Haramaya University Chapter, national innovation competitions, and student leadership — including serving as a Higher Executive of the Haramaya University Students' Union and MUN Coordinator for two Model United Nations simulations.
